Indico Data partners with HDI Global US on intake

Indico Data, the Intake & Orchestration Platform for insurance operations, has entered into a partnership with HDI Global US, a corporate and specialty insurance carrier, aimed at improving how complex underwriting work enters and flows through the insurer’s business.

The collaboration will see Indico support HDI as the insurer advances its Xcelerate29 strategy, which centres on targeted international growth, continued excellence in underwriting and claims, and the deployment of AI and data to better serve clients operating in complex corporate and specialty insurance markets.

A core element of this strategy involves identifying efficiencies across core underwriting systems and the workflows that follow, so that submissions can move more smoothly from initial intake through to final decision.

As part of the rollout, Indico will initially concentrate on casualty-related workflows in the US market, covering areas such as general liability, excess and construction. The platform is designed to ingest, enrich, validate, route and orchestrate intricate insurance work across different geographies, business lines and operating structures.

Rather than focusing purely on faster document processing, Indico’s approach is centred on converting inconsistent inputs into clean, complete and system-ready information that can be directed to the appropriate teams and platforms with greater reliability.

Indico Data operates as an Intake & Orchestration Platform built specifically for insurance operations. Its technology is designed to modernise how work enters and travels through an enterprise, managing the ingestion, enrichment, validation and orchestration of unstructured operational data across underwriting, claims and servicing functions.

Kashif Syed, Chief Information & Transformation Officer at HDI Global US, said, “HDI Global’s Xcelerate29 strategy depends on scaling complex corporate and specialty insurance operations without compromising quality, speed, or control.

“Modernizing intake is an important step in that journey. With Indico, we can strengthen how complex submissions and related work are captured, validated, and moved through the business, giving our teams better visibility and more consistent operational execution.”

Indico Data CEO Tom Wilde said, “Insurance modernization does not start downstream. It starts at the front door. HDI understands that growth, specialty expertise, and operational excellence all depend on how effectively work enters the enterprise and moves to the teams and systems that need it. We’re proud to work with HDI as it builds a more scalable operating model for corporate and specialty insurance.”
