PayQuicker, a global payout orchestration platform that connects businesses to payment rails across more than 210 countries and territories, has received a strategic investment from Clearhaven Partners, a private equity firm focused on software and technology.
The transaction saw PayQuicker’s President and CEO, together with members of the Company’s leadership team, invest alongside Clearhaven. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Established in 2008, PayQuicker runs a cloud-based system that allows enterprises to move funds securely and in real time to individuals and businesses worldwide. A single API connects customers to a wide network of banks, card schemes, processors and local payment partners, with payouts intelligently directed across bank accounts, physical and virtual cards, mobile wallets and other regional methods. The platform’s configurable design gives recipients more say over the timing and method of payment, while cutting down the operational and compliance burden that comes with moving money internationally.
The Company works across sectors including marketplaces, workforce platforms, clinical research, insurance and the creator economy, alongside other businesses that manage large, dispersed groups of payees. Its combination of technology, compliance and risk framework, partner network and customer support is designed to help clients build, grow and fine-tune their payout schemes while giving end recipients a smooth, dependable experience.
Central to the offering is PayQuicker’s Payouts OS, which gives businesses one integration point covering multiple financial institutions and payment rails. Its routing engine weighs up cost, speed, currency, method, reliability, and local regulatory demands before choosing the best route for each transaction.
Alongside recipient-led payment choice, instant disbursement, branded interfaces and built-in compliance and reporting tools, the platform is intended to boost payout performance and recipient satisfaction without customers having to stitch together separate integrations themselves.
PayQuicker President and CEO Paul Beldham said, “PayQuicker was built around a simple idea: global payouts should be easier for businesses to manage and better for recipients to experience.
“As our customers have grown and their payout needs have become more complex, we have continued to expand the reach, flexibility, and capabilities of our platform. Clearhaven brings deep software and technology expertise, a shared commitment to our customers, and resources to help us accelerate the next phase of PayQuicker’s growth. We are excited to partner with the Clearhaven team as we expand our global capabilities and continue delivering differentiated value to customers and payees around the world.”
Clearhaven Partners Managing Partner Christopher Ryan said, “PayQuicker sits squarely within Clearhaven’s focus on backing differentiated technology businesses that simplify complex, mission-critical workflows.
“PayQuicker has created a powerful orchestration layer between enterprises and a fragmented global network of financial institutions and payment rails while maintaining a strong focus on reliability and the end-recipient experience. The Company has built a strong platform and an exceptional reputation with its customers, and we are excited to support PayQuicker’s next phase of growth.”
