Marloo launches in the US to help advisers

Marloo, the AI partner for financial advisers, helps firms move beyond traditional CRM and administrative work by automating advice operations, compliance, documentation and client management, has announced its launch in the United States.

The expansion follows a period of strong growth for the business, which has onboarded more than 900 advisory firms across eight countries within the past year.

Over the same period, revenue has climbed by upwards of 40% on a month-on-month basis, and the company has moved into four additional markets.

Advisers are said to be using the platform around 25 times each week on average, while customer churn has stayed close to zero since it went live.

The business was created to address a long-standing gap in financial advice technology. Advisers have traditionally relied on a CRM as the core of their technology stack, yet this software has mainly logged work once it was completed rather than helping to carry it out.

As a result, advisers have continued to lose significant time to meeting preparation, drafting advice documents, chasing follow-ups, completing paperwork and tracking compliance obligations. Marloo positions itself as the system that sits beyond the CRM, bringing meeting preparation, correspondence reviews, client communication, form completion and compliance tasks together in one place designed around how advice firms actually operate.

Where much of the existing AI tooling in the sector has concentrated on note-taking and meeting summaries, Marloo is aiming at the wider workload surrounding client meetings, arguing that tasks taking up most of a working day can be cut to under an hour.

In a joint statement, Marloo co-founders Hardy Michel and Shakeel Lala said, “The CRM became one of the most important pieces of software in financial advice, but it also created one of the profession’s biggest frustrations. Advisers spend enormous amounts of time maintaining systems that are supposed to help them, when in reality too much of the work still happens outside the software. This archaic approach is well and truly outdated.

“We think the profession deserves something fundamentally better. Advisers do not need yet another system to update, another dashboard to manage, or another AI assistant helping them with meeting notes. Marloo is where work gets done and allows advisers to focus on what matters most: helping clients make better decisions. This is what we are bringing to the United States.”
