MDT partners with OnTrac AI on credit union AI strategy

Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a credit union service organisation that helps credit unions navigate complex financial technology ecosystems, has announced a new partnership with OnTrac AI, an AI development and consulting firm, aimed at strengthening its Transformational Consulting offering with additional AI readiness, strategy and implementation capabilities.

Under the arrangement, MDT will bring OnTrac AI’s Ignite programme into its consulting portfolio, giving credit unions support in pinpointing where artificial intelligence could deliver the most value, evaluating how prepared their organisations are to adopt it, and mapping out a practical route from early exploration to measurable results.

The tie-up builds on MDT’s established position as a strategic partner to credit unions, pairing its sector expertise, client-focused consulting style and technology base with OnTrac AI’s methodology for converting uncertainty about AI into clear priorities and workable plans.

MDT’s Transformational Consulting service is designed to help credit unions bring people, processes and technology into closer alignment, cutting out inefficiencies, reworking workflows, making better use of resources and getting ready for automation where it makes sense.

With OnTrac AI now part of the offering, the service gains a dedicated framework for weighing up AI opportunities according to their organisational impact, the effort needed to implement them and how likely they are to be adopted, alongside attention to governance, security, AI literacy, staff readiness and responsible deployment.

Member Driven Technologies works with credit unions to help them manage increasingly complex financial technology landscapes, with the aim of keeping them as the institution members choose.

Member Driven Technologies Chief Project Officer Dan Schneider said, “AI has the potential to transform how credit unions operate, but for many institutions, the biggest challenge is knowing where to begin.

“By partnering with OnTrac AI, we are giving credit unions access to a structured, responsible and scalable approach to AI adoption. This insight will help our clients move beyond curiosity or confusion around AI and take deliberate steps toward improved operations, stronger employee adoption and better member service in a way that supports compliance, security and the credit union mission of people helping people.”

OnTrac AI Chief Growth Officer Bob Marsh said, “The goal isn’t to encourage credit unions to adopt AI for the sake of adopting AI.

“Ignite helps organizations step back, identify where AI can have meaningful operational impact and prioritize opportunities based on their needs, readiness, and ability to execute. Partnering with MDT allows us to provide credit unions with experienced AI experts, stronger AI literacy and readiness across teams, enabling them to take a scaled approach that is practical, economical and aligned with their unique needs. Together we are helping credit unions reduce fear and take intentional steps toward operational efficiency and enhanced member service.”
