Most banks, insurers, wealth managers and pension providers still run their operations across a patchwork of disconnected systems, with product governance, market data, financial planning, advice, onboarding and execution each sitting in separate applications. Keeping them stitched together into a coherent business process has become a full-time job for many institutions.
Kidbrooke has set out to address that problem with KidbrookeONE, a modular, API-first platform designed to let financial institutions build connected, end-to-end journeys while only adopting the components they need. Whether an organisation is modernising a pension journey, adding digital advice or building an entirely new proposition, Kidbrooke positions the platform as covering the full financial lifecycle.
Kidbrooke frames that lifecycle around three connected stages: designing the experience, distributing the product or service through any channel, and administering the regulated business behind it. The same product definition, analytics and operational record can move through all three stages, something Kidbrooke notes is difficult to achieve when each stage runs on a different technology stack.
On the design side, KidbrookeONE treats product definition as versioned configuration rather than an engineering task. Its Product Universe & Configuration module acts as a single source of truth for investment products, pensions, insurance products and model portfolios, while Market & ESG Data, the Pension & Tax Rules Engine and the Scenario & Projection Engine give every channel a shared analytical base for projections, risk assessment and valuation.
For distribution, Kidbrooke’s platform supports direct-to-consumer, adviser-led and broker or aggregator channels from the same underlying product configuration and analytics.
Digital customer experiences cover onboarding, KYC, self-service planning and portals, while the Financial Planning Workbench gives advisers and distribution partners access to portfolio analysis, proposal generation and monitoring using the same assumptions and models as self-service journeys.
On the administration side, Kidbrooke’s Policy & Contract Administration capability maintains a single record spanning the customer relationship from initial journey through every subsequent event, avoiding the common break between customer-facing systems and separate back-office administration platforms.
Premium collection, charges, accounting and end-of-day processing are automated to reduce manual handling, while regulatory and central bank reporting draws from the same regulated data store used for policy administration and financial operations.
Kidbrooke emphasises that adopting KidbrookeONE does not require institutions to replace existing infrastructure wholesale. Capabilities deploy independently, allowing organisations to start wherever the business case is strongest, whether that is product governance, market data or a specific distribution channel, and add further modules over time.
