Prometeia is deepening its foothold in Spain as the country’s Wealth and Asset Management sector accelerates past its previous growth trajectory.
Market and regulatory data point to rising revenues from investment advice and discretionary portfolio management, while investment fund assets have climbed to record highs, piling pressure on institutions to modernise workflows, sharpen data-driven decision making and deliver a more consistent client experience.
Prometeia argues that value in this environment hinges on three connected layers: reliable data and analytics, robust end-to-end workflows, and compliance-by-design built around EU and local regulation. The firm says Spanish financial intermediaries are increasingly hunting for providers that can fuse technology, data and domain expertise into outcomes that hold up at scale, rather than piecemeal fixes.
To meet that demand, Prometeia is actively investing in the Spanish market, working to sharpen advisory effectiveness, strengthen investment fund intelligence and benchmarking, and reinforce regulatory compliance for local banks, wealth managers and asset managers. The firm points to decades of experience in quantitative methodologies as the backbone of that offering.
Its Spanish push is built around two platforms. The Digital Wealth Management Platform lets banks and advisory networks deliver personalised, fully compliant advice at scale, combining advisory workflows, portfolio construction, risk profiling, automation and client engagement in a modular architecture.
Alongside it, Asset Management Insights (AMI), Prometeia’s SaaS market-intelligence platform, blends third-party data with proprietary analytics and ESG metrics to support benchmarking, fundraising monitoring and strategic decision-making across institutional, retail and private markets. Together, Prometeia says, the platforms turn raw data into actionable intelligence across both the advisory and asset management lifecycles.
Speaking at Madrid Investor Networking Day (MIND), Prometeia associate partner Martin Skup said the firm’s solutions rest on more than 50 years of academic and quantitative research. He argued that technology is central to helping relationship managers and private bankers balance client objectives, institutional priorities and regulatory demands, and that generative AI in particular is improving advisory usability by supporting portfolio storytelling, proposal creation and opportunity identification within a book of business.
Prometeia says its focus is on deploying AI where it delivers tangible value, freeing advisors to concentrate on higher-value client interactions rather than administrative work.
