FintechOS raises $28m to fund US expansion

FintechOS, the agentic platform for Unified Product Operations, serving banks, insurers and other financial services firms across the United States and Europe, has closed a $28m round combining equity and debt financing.

The capital was provided by existing backers Bek Ventures, IFC, Cipio Partners and Molten Ventures, together with a senior debt facility supplied by Santander CIB.

FintechOS intends to put the funds towards building out its US expansion base, deepening its client relationships across Europe, and growing the delivery team supporting its AI-native platform.

The raise comes after a strong opening half of 2026 for the company, which confirmed it had turned profitable while lifting recurring revenue by 40% year-on-year, a performance underpinned by 130% growth in its US business. Operational EBITDA rose by more than 102% over the same period, with improved gross margins helping to finance the next stage of growth without easing off.

FintechOS is on course to close a record number of new clients this year, with over 20 financial institutions worldwide expected to adopt its AI-native platform, FintechOS 8, in 2026.

FintechOS provides a unified layer that allows banks, insurers and other financial firms to manage a product’s entire lifecycle, from design and launch through to pricing, origination and servicing, within a single operational flow. The company says this approach removes the fragmentation created by complex processes and multiple disconnected systems, helping organisations bring financial products to market faster and more efficiently through its AI-native platform.

FintechOS CFO Cyril Desouza said, “Reaching profitability was not an accident, it was the outcome of a deliberate, multi-year effort to get our cost base, our margins and our delivery practice right before we pushed harder on growth again. Now that discipline is paying off twice over: the business has reached profitability, and we’ve already made the shift back into high growth, which is exactly the combination that lets us take on a round like this one.”

FintechOS founder and CEO Teo Blidarus said, “Growth and profitability go hand in hand, not at the expense of one another. Santander CIB’s support, alongside other investors that trust us, is a strong vote of confidence in the path we’re on, and it gives us the capital to go after the extraordinary potential we see ahead, particularly in the US, without compromising the discipline that got us to profitability in the first place.”
