Earnix unveils Agent Hub as Excelerate London draws 350+

Earnix, an AI firm built specifically for insurance decisioning, has wrapped up its Excelerate London 2026 event, where more than 350 senior figures from the insurance sector gathered to discuss how AI, shifting risk and growing economic and regulatory demands are transforming the market.

The central message from the keynotes, customer presentations and panel discussions was that insurers are no longer short of data, models or intelligence. Instead, what sets firms apart is how rapidly they can convert those resources into sound decisions and deploy them in live environments, all while preserving the oversight, control and explainability the sector demands.

Risk is evolving at pace, financial conditions are tightening and AI is widening the scope of what insurers can analyse and act upon. Meanwhile, customers and regulators expect more, calling for stronger transparency and accountability as well as offerings that adapt faster to shifting consumer requirements. According to Earnix, meeting these demands means uniting the right data, models and human expertise across routine activities such as pricing, underwriting and customer engagement.

The company’s Intelligent Decisioning approach aims to achieve this by combining data, predictive models, generative and agentic AI, business rules and human judgement around critical decisions. This allows insurers to move precise decisions into production swiftly within a controlled setting, react more quickly to changes in risk and customer behaviour, and adjust strategy faster without losing oversight.

A key highlight of the event was the launch of Agent Hub, which offers production-ready agents tailored to insurance across pricing, underwriting, modelling, customer engagement, data and technology. These agents run within AIOS, Earnix’s AI Orchestration System designed for the insurance industry, where agentic AI operates alongside predictive and generative AI, models, business rules, data and human expertise.

Rather than just producing insights, the agents can collect information, apply relevant context and carry out set tasks for users, while people remain involved to supervise, review and retain control. Earnix stressed that the aim is not automation for its own sake but helping insurance professionals act more quickly and with richer context while keeping authority over significant decisions.

Governance was another major focus. Sessions on responsible AI and regulation pointed to rising expectations around consumer protection, fairness, explainability and accountability, as well as closer examination of how AI systems function. Earnix showcased governed environments intended to support regulatory obligations through clearly defined authority and permissions, traceable actions, human supervision and transparent accountability. Instead of acting as an opaque system, these environments let practitioners see how decisions are reached and offer a straightforward way to manage, review and control them as they go live.

Earnix describes itself as the first AI company designed for insurance decisioning, giving insurers the intelligence, governance and agility needed to grow profitably, strengthen resilience and operate with speed in a fast-changing risk landscape.

Drawing on over 25 years of experience in AI-driven risk, pricing, rating, analytics and decisioning, the firm embeds vertical AI into processes spanning pricing, underwriting, claims, customer engagement and retention.

Earnix CEO Robin Gilthorpe said, “The competitive challenge for insurers is increasingly one of agility. Markets will change, risk will change and the capabilities of AI will continue to change. The advantage will come from being able to respond — to make decisions, test them, learn and course-correct with the speed and control the business requires.”
