Tietoevry Industry welcomes Carsten Henke as new managing director

Tietoevry Industry, a leader in industry-specific software and data platform services, will appoint Carsten Henke as managing director on 1 November this year.

This strategic move aligns with the company’s commitment to driving innovation and excellence across its operational segments.

With over 1,600 experts, the company makes significant strides in sectors like Public Sector, Education, Pulp, Paper & Fibre, and Energy & Utilities. Their approach is pivotal in advancing critical processes for enterprises and the public sector, marking their footprint in the digital landscape.

Carsten Henke, boasting 28 years of profound experience within Tietoevry, steps into the role of Managing Director. His journey with the company is notable, having held several leadership positions, the most recent being the Head of the Pulp, Paper & Fibre business unit. Henke is set to succeed Ari Järvelä, who will now concentrate on his responsibilities as Managing Director of Tietoevry Care.

Beyond his impressive professional trajectory within Tietoevry, Henke is recognised for his intrinsic understanding of the industry’s complexities and customer-centric approach. His leadership is anticipated to reinforce the company’s mission of ensuring reliability and futureproofing customers’ business-critical processes, ultimately influencing consumer and citizen lives positively.

In the backdrop of this significant appointment, the company also emphasises its strategic structure, ensuring dedicated leadership across all its specialised businesses. This focus is integral to Tietoevry Industry’s broader vision of sustaining innovation, growth, and international expansion, particularly under Henke’s leadership.
