PayQuicker teams up with Thunes to revolutionise global e-wallet payouts

PayQuicker, a leading global payouts orchestration platform, has partnered with Thunes, a pioneer in global money movement innovation.

The partnership is driven by the rising demand for more diverse and flexible payout methods. In many emerging markets, e-Wallets are crucial, often serving as primary financial tools due to the lack of traditional banking infrastructure.

PayQuicker specialises in offering instant and secure global payouts in local currencies, catering to various sectors like accounts payable, affiliate networks, the creator economy, direct selling, the on-demand economy, and platforms and marketplaces. By enhancing e-Wallet capabilities within its global payouts suite, PayQuicker aims to fulfil its core promise of smarter, faster, and easier global payouts.

Thunes excels in facilitating seamless, real-time money movement across borders, focusing on inclusivity and efficiency in global financial transactions.

Paul Beldham, ceo of PayQuicker said, “Digital wallets are transforming the way people manage their finances, especially in regions where traditional banking infrastructure is lacking.

“By teaming up with Thunes, we’re further enabling millions of people around the world to receive their funds faster and more securely, providing the flexibility of a bank alternative. This not only empowers individuals to better manage their day-to-day finances but also supports the economic growth of emerging markets by facilitating more reliable transactions.”

The partnership addresses significant challenges faced by global businesses in delivering real-time payouts to emerging markets. Traditional cross-border payments can be slow and costly, particularly for smaller transactions. With around 60% of individuals in emerging markets preferring e-Wallets over traditional banks, integrating these payment options is becoming essential for businesses.

PayQuicker will now offer access to over 120 e-Wallets in key emerging markets, including popular ones like GCash in the Philippines, Orange Money and M-Pesa in Africa, Daviplata in Colombia, and Alipay in China. These e-Wallets provide robust transfer capabilities, ensuring that the majority of funds are available to payees in real-time.
