APOLLO Insurance, a leading Canadian digital insurance broker, has announced the launch of its pet insurance product.
This new offering will be available to its “tens of thousands of customers” through a strategic partnership with Petsecure, one of Canada’s pioneering pet health insurance providers, according to the Coverager.
The decision to launch this product stems from the growing need to help customers manage unexpected veterinary expenses.
With the increase in pet ownership across Canada—projected to reach 28.5 million pets by 2025—APOLLO aims to ease the financial burden for pet owners by providing comprehensive pet insurance alongside its existing tenant insurance offering.

By partnering with Petsecure, APOLLO offers pet owners peace of mind, ensuring they can afford the necessary care for their pets without worrying about steep medical bills.
Petsecure, a brand of Petline Insurance Company, is Canada’s first licensed insurance company focused exclusively on pet insurance. They have partnered with other well-known companies such as Desjardins and Sonnet to offer pet insurance services across the country.
