Chargebee, a prominent provider of subscription billing and revenue management solutions for B2B and consumer-serving businesses worldwide, has announced the launch of its new office in Dublin, Ireland.

This expansion marks a significant step in the company’s international growth strategy and demonstrates its commitment to strengthening its presence in Europe, according to FF News.

The move is being supported by the Irish Government through the Investment Development Agency (IDA) Ireland.

This decision aligns with Chargebee’s broader goal of accelerating its growth and increasing its footprint across Europe. With a substantial portion of its customer base already located in the region and an existing headquarters in Amsterdam, the new Dublin office places Chargebee at the heart of Europe’s vibrant tech sector.

Dublin, a hub for major SaaS and technology firms, is expected to help Chargebee continue its mission of helping businesses maximise revenue and growth potential.

Over the next three years, Chargebee plans to expand its Dublin team to 50 employees, focusing on supporting and growing its customer base, which includes well-known brands such as xSellco, Oddbox, Personio, and Typeform.

To underline the importance of the region, Chargebee’s Chief Marketing Officer, Guy Marion, will be relocating to Dublin as part of the expansion. The company remains a leader in subscription billing and revenue management, continually innovating in areas such as billing, customer retention, and revenue optimisation.

“Dublin’s thriving tech ecosystem and access to world-class talent make it the perfect location for Chargebee’s European expansion. We’re excited to create a fantastic workplace for our new team members while driving growth in the region, and tapping into Dublin’s pool of skilled tech talent to drive our mission forward,” said Chargebee’s CEO, Krish Subramanian. “We have had a long association with Dublin through our local customers and partners. This is an exciting development in Chargebee’s journey.”

IDA Ireland’s CEO, Michael Lohan, remarked, “I am delighted that Chargebee is planning to establish in Ireland and hire up to 50 employees in the next three years. Ireland offers a great opportunity for companies like Chargebee to leverage growth for the EMEA region. The decision to expand their team is a testament to the strong talent pool and the vibrant tech ecosystem that Ireland offers. I would like to wish Chargebee every success here.”

Minister for Enterprise, Trade, and Employment, Peter Burke TD, added, “I welcome the news that Chargebee has chosen Dublin for their new European office. Dublin is well-established as a leading global hub for tech companies, and having Chargebee here is another vote of confidence. Chargebee are targeting EMEA future growth, and the expansion will also include 50 positions over the coming years, which is welcome news for our graduates and skilled workforce.”
