Financial intelligence leader KOIOS secures $5m in seed funding

KOIOS has successfully completed its seed funding round, raising $5m from family offices and private investors.

According to Finextra, this significant financial endorsement underscores confidence in KOIOS’s innovative approach to online security.

The investment was spearheaded by a consortium of family offices and private investors, marking a robust backing for the company’s advanced technology. KOIOS is dedicated to enhancing financial security by identifying and mitigating online threats and manipulation campaigns targeted at publicly traded companies.

At its core, KOIOS leverages a sophisticated AI-driven SaaS platform to analyze online discussions about publicly traded companies across social media and blogs. The platform promptly alerts firms to potential manipulation efforts, providing them with actionable insights to preempt and counter adverse campaigns.

The newly acquired funds are earmarked for ramping up innovation within KOIOS. The goal is to expand the availability of their solutions, enabling more companies to access and benefit from advanced threat detection and mitigation technologies.

According to Ella Tkach-Dreazen, co-founder of KOIOS, the digital landscape poses increasingly rapid challenges that many publicly traded companies struggle to navigate effectively. “The digital landscape is changing faster than most publicly traded companies can comprehend—leaving them vulnerable to online manipulation and negative influence campaigns,” she explained. “We are honored to have the support of our investors, who recognize KOIOS as the best solution to empower companies to protect themselves and their stock.”

Previously, KOIOS has already seen adoption of its platform among US-based publicly traded companies and investment relations firms, indicating early success and the practical utility of its offerings.
