Sure, a leading InsurTech company, has launched the insurance industry’s first Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable AI agents to autonomously quote, bind, and service insurance policies.

The MCP addresses long-standing inefficiencies caused by legacy systems by allowing AI to directly access and operate core insurance functions.

With features like real-time quoting, autonomous binding, and full policy lifecycle management, MCP dramatically improves speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

The capability is now available to enterprise clients globally, with expansion plans throughout 2025.

Sure CEO Wayne Slavin said, “We’re ushering in a new era in insurance technology. By integrating MCP capabilities into insurance infrastructure, we’re not just improving existing processes – we’re fundamentally reimagining how insurance can be delivered. AI agents can now handle the entire insurance lifecycle autonomously, from initial quote through binding and ongoing service, creating unprecedented efficiency and accessibility for both consumers and insurance providers globally.”

Slavin added, “The insurance industry has been waiting for this moment. MCP represents the missing link between AI capability and insurance infrastructure. We’ve essentially built the highway system that allows AI agents to navigate insurance operations safely and efficiently.”
