Payments company Alphacomm will improve its anti-fraud capabilities through the acquisition of Mi-Pay.
Through this purchase, Alphacomm will access Mi-Pay’s development centre in Romania, including more than 30 developers and customer support managers. Furthermore, Alphacomm will also be able to offer PCI level 1 certification to its clients, boosting security of transactions.
This deal will help Alphacomm increase the volume of payments processed on its platform to over €250m in 2020, the company claims.
Netherlands-headquartered Alphacomm aims to help companies boost revenues through payments, customer loyalty and reminders. The FinTech offers a complete digital payment solution and offers a reminder service to follow-up on due transactions.
Mi-Pay is an anti-fraud company which helps to boost security of transactions.
Alphacomm CEO Huub Sparnaay said, “The acquisition of Mi-Pay will bring Alphacomm closer to its ambition in becoming the dominant revenue generating platform in 2025.
