Spending management business Coupa Software has announced that it is buying Llamasoft in deal said to be worth $1.5bn.
“Llamasoft’s deep supply chain expertise and sophisticated data science and modeling capabilities, combined with the roughly $2trn of cumulative transactional spend data we have in Coupa, will empower businesses with the intelligence needed to pivot on a dime,” said Rob Bernshteyn, CEO and chairman of Coupa, in a statement seen by TechCrunch.
The deal comes as businesses around the world are digitising their services and systems to better cope with the coronavirus pandemic.
Coupa is known for having created systems that help companies better manage their spending.
