London-based FinTech FintechOS has snared $60m in a Series B funding round led by Draper Esprit.
Participating in the round alongside Draper were Gapminder Ventures, LAUNCHub Ventures, OTB Ventures and Earlybird Digital East.
Founded in 2017, FintechOS markets a low-code, self-service platform which helps financial organisations go digital quickly and effortlessly, allowing firms to build, test and launch new digital products in weeks instead of months.
According to FintechOS, the financing will be used to cement the firm’s position in Europe and the UK, as well as supporting international expansion efforts to target financial organisations in Asia-Pacific, North America and the Middle East.
The company also plans to use the money to launch new offices in the US, Dubai and Singapore as well as employing 120 new staff members.
FintechOS CEO Teodor Blidarus said, “When we launched FintechOS in 2017, we could already see existing solutions to digital transformation would struggle to deliver tangible results. By contrast, our unique approach has quickly inspired a sea-change in how financial institutions address digitization and engage with their customers.
“Events over the last year have only increased pressure on our industry to evolve and as a result we’re seeing growing demand for our powerful platforms.”
Previously in December 2019, FintechOS raised €12.7m ($14m) in Series A funding. In 2018, the company raised $600,000 in seed funding.
