Cyscale, which provides complete cloud visibility, has reportedly raised €3m in its seed funding round, which was led by Notion Capital.
Other participants in the round were Seedcamp, GapMinder BV, Wrecker founder Micha Hernandez van Leuffen and Console.dev founder David Mytton, according to a report from Business Review.
With this capital injection, Cyscale plans to expand its teams in Romania and the UK – its current team is comprised of 15 people. By the end of the year, its goal is to have an engineering team of 25 and a further 10 people in other roles. After three years, Cyscale hopes to have a team of 250 people.
Cyscale empowers companies to map, secure and monitor cloud assets across platforms. It also helps meet compliance with CIS, ISO 27001:2013, SOC 2, NIST 800, NIST CSF, PCIDSS, CCPA, GDPR, HITRUST and HIPAA.
Compliance officers can optimise their efforts and results, as well as evaluate, improve and automatically monitor compliance levels.
Some of its features include a security knowledge graph, real-time cloud inventory management, working from home compliance overview and automated evidence collection.
Cyscale CEO and co-founder Ovidiu Cical told Business Review, “Our goal is to be present globally, not just in certain markets. But to achieve this goal, we know that we have to invest a lot in creating a self-served and self-serviced product, that is, to make the customer experience ‘a state of the art.’
“We are also looking for new colleagues to help us in this segment. The most difficult thing is to access specialised human resources in departments other than the technical ones, such as marketing experts, SaaS cybersecurity sales, channel managers, analysts and security researchers.”
