NsureHub teams up with Guardian Leak Detection to bolster home insurance services

US-based InsurTech NsureHub has partnered with Guardian Leak Detection to bolster its home insurance offering.

Guardian Leak Detection is a Chicago-based smart leak prevention company that specialises in detecting leaks and controlling valves to prevent the damage of properties caused by water in various homes.

With policies available in Florida, Texas, and Louisiana, NsureHub is a full independent agency. The company aims to help its customers manage the risks of everyday life with confidence.

NsureHub said it provides affordable and personalised insurance policies ensuring that individuals of all categories have access to hassle-free insurance policies all on one website, thus allowing them go to one place to purchase all their insurance products.

The partnership aims to offers customers discounts on their home insurance policies, as well as discounts on devices from Guardian Leak Detection.

Further, NsureHub said its partnership with Guardian enables them to provide their customers with multiple detection points, offline functionality, and remote access. NsureHub considers this the ideal solution for its customers to safeguard their homes, protect themselves against water damage, and save with discounts on their home insurance and by purchasing the Guardian system via the company’s website.

The company added that the partnership also forms part of its efforts to help its customers take more of a proactive prevention approach to home perils.

Alvaro Ortiz, president Of NsureHub, said, “We strive to use technology to make the insurance buying process as seamless as possible for our customers.”

Last year, Detroit-based InsurTech CoverTree raised $10m in a seed funding round and launched a home insurance offering.

Alongside the funding, CoverTree has also worked in collaboration with Markel to develop a manufactured home insurance product.

The InsurTech said that beyond the densely populated metropolitan areas in the US, there exists an alternative housing boom brought on by the pandemic, changing demographics, and supply chain issues for on-site building.
