Jonny is the CCO and Global Head of Compliance for Santander’s Corporate and Investment Bank, responsible for 250 compliance professionals globally covering the compliance and financial crime programs. Prior to joining Santander in 2024, Jonny was the Head of Compliance for the Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Research and the Control Room at Deutsche Bank. He was also Deputy Head of Compliance for the Americas and the Chief Compliance Officer of Deutsche Bank’s New York Branch, US Broker Dealer, and globally the Swap Dealer and Security Based Swap Dealer. With a strong background in strategic and transformation projects, Jonny started his career as a derivatives lawyer in London before taking on business line COO roles at the product, regional and global levels.
