Nick Krafft – New York State Department of Financial Services

Nick Krafft is the Executive Deputy Superintendent for Research & Innovation at the New York State Department of Financial Services. Prior to joining DFS, he was a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. An early member of CFPB’s implementation team, Nick was a policy analyst in the Bureau’s Division of Supervision, Enforcement, and Fair Lending from 2010 to 2015. He has a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.A. in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
