Scoro swipes $1.9m for workplace automation platform

Work management and financial tools startup Scoro has raised $1.9m in a seed round of funding. The capital for the Tallinn, Estonia and London-based company comes from SmartCap, Inventure and Alchemist Accelerator.

The SaaS company is just one of a recent wave of startups utilising machine learning and artificial intelligence to power workflow platforms by automating processes and managing data sets.

The Scoro platform’s features include project planning, client relationship management and financial tools such as billing and expenses, invoicing, payroll and reporting.

The company says the capital will be used to developer further automation of processes and integrate new service into the product. It will also allow the company to expand its sales and support teams.
