Canadian SME financing startup FundThrough has raised $18.6m (C$24.6) in a Series B round of funding led by Scale Up Ventures.
The Toronto-based company focuses on providing financing to companies awaiting invoice payments from corporate clients.
In March FundThrough said it had funded businesses more than $30m since launching in 2014.
The company will receive the C$24.6m through a C$20m loan in capital and C$4.6m in equity.
It says the capital will be used to finance more SME loans.
The round is Scale Up Ventures’ fourth investment to date and second disclosed deal
FundThrough previously raised $2.2m last year in a round led by Real Ventures.
