Online lending platform Validus Capital has reportedly picked up a $2.9m capital injection from Vertex Ventures.
This funding round has come weeks after the company netted $726,000 in a pre-Series A funding round, according to an article by TechInAsia.
The Singapore-based company is an online P2B lending platform that helps to connect SMEs with accredited individuals and institutional lenders.
Validus helps to minimise the financial intermediation costs, with around 90 per cent of loans being funded within 48 hours.
With the investment, Validus will expand into new markets across Southeast Asia, according to the report.
