IT services provider ConvergeOne has agreed to acquire solutions integrator Venture Technologies, for an undisclosed amount.
WhiteLight Group, which is a business application consulting entity acquired by Venture Technologies in 2016, is not included in this deal.
ConvergeOne has made this acquisition as part of its strategy of developing a broad and comprehensive portfolio of solutions.
US-based ConvergeOne is a global IT services provider for large and medium businesses operating within the finance, banking, insurance, healthcare, government, manufacturing and media industries, among others. Its offerings include cybersecurity solutions, data centres, unified communications and enterprise networking.
Its communication software helps enterprises to communicate internally and externally in a secure and compliant manner. Financial services can take advantage of this to communicate with customers in various forms, such as mobile and social media, and incorporate face-to-face video.
Cybersecurity tools enable clients to protect their network and anticipate any potential threat. The end-to-end security services include network security, firewalls and risk mitigation software.
Venture Technologies CEO Gerard Gibert said, “Venture Technologies’ 32 years of success is grounded in the principles of honouring commitments and treating our staff, customers and technology partners with integrity and respect.
“From initial discussions with ConvergeOne, it was evident that our companies share these values. By joining ConvergeOne, our customers will gain access to a broader solutions portfolio, and our staff will have access to expanded opportunities afforded by a growing, nationwide organization. We are thrilled to be joining the ConvergeOne team.”
Venture Technologies designs and builds a range of IT solutions including network security, network infrastructure data centres, and web conferencing, among others.
