OpenFin partners with FlexTrade to improve trading workflows

OpenFin has partnered with FlexTrade, a broker-natural, execution and order management trading system, to offer improved workflows.

In working together, they will offer application interoperability and improve the workflow management of buy-side traders.

Traders using FlexTrade products will be able to integrate third-party vendor applications which are already used on the OpenFin OS. This aims to improve the desktop experience but also give traders find the best applications to improve their daily operations and simplify navigation of complex markets.

OpenFin’s technology also enables FlexTrade’s products to release new desktop applications for clients quicker. It will also support communications between applications, improving the sharing of information and context.

Alongside the new partnership, FlexTrade joined the Financial Desktop Connectivity and Collaboration Consortium (FDC3), which was founded in 2017 by OpenFin. The group work together to nurture application interoperability across financial desktops.

FlexTrade is an execution management and order management trading systems for foreign exchange, equities, options, futures, and fixed income. Its FlexTRADER solution gives clients the power to control and customise their algorithms while maintaining confidentiality of trading strategies.

OpenFin is an open technology operating systems which helps banks, brokers, asset managers and hedge funds to standardise their financial desktops.
