Digital claims platform The Helper Bees has partnered with US commercial property and casualty insurance firm CNA to improve policyholders’ claims processes.
As part of the deal, CNA claimants using in-home caregivers will gain access to digital claims invoicing, removing their need to complete manual timesheets. Policyholders and families receive improved transparency, while ensuring faster claim submissions and simpler reimbursements.
In addition to this, The Helper Bees will deploy its algorithm to directly match ‘great home caregivers’ with CNA policyholders in need of home care services. This will help foster a deeper relationship with caregivers and the recipient, rather than simply matching based on schedules.
The Hepler Bees digitalisation process is being used to promote other interventional services for claimants staying at home.
CNA vice president, long-term care operations and claims John Palmer said, “Partnering with The Helper Bees, an innovative and agile tech company, will provide a simplified claims submission process, while helping protect CNA policyholders from inaccurate billing.
“The Helper Bees’ caregiver matching process and utilizing technology to deliver enhanced care information to caregivers continues our efforts to help our policyholders remain in their home and reduce transitions to facilities.”
The Hepler Bees offers carriers a digital transformation solution with digital claims and intake tools to help claimants.
