ING has hired former FCA and HM Treasury veteran Lisa Walker as head of compliance in the UK and Middle East

Dutch financial powerhouse ING has appointed Lisa Walker as head of compliance in the UK and Middle East.

She will be reporting to ING’s chief risk officer, in the UK and the Middle East Simon Berg.

Having previously clocked up time with the HM Treasury and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) where she managed the relationships with Investment Exchanges such as the LSE and NEX, Walker’s new role will see her take ownership of ING’s drive towards introducing a better compliance culture within the bank’s wholesale banking London and Dubai offices and provide strategic regulatory guidance to the business.
