Trax Print uses its technology to help fight Covid-19

Document protection and anti-fraud company Trax Print has formed a partnership with Zoono to build a dynamic sanitisation certificate.

The technology, which is also being built in collaboration with Clear Blue Technologies, will be distributed in South Africa through Liquigenic.

Zoono is a sanitiser that helps to kill germs and bacteria for up to 30 days. This dynamic sanitisation certificate will work by once a cleaning contractor has treated an area with Zoono, they will scan a QR code through the Trax Print Mobile app. This will reset the validity of the certificate automatically adding 30 days of protection.

Through this, the cleaners and businesses will be automatically notified when the protection is running out.

Liquigenic CEO Marius Erasmus said, “This certificate will give the public a peace of mind that would not be normally achieved in this time of pandemic. The site owners know that the Zoono product is protecting everyone, but to give the public a way to instantly know when the protection was applied is essential to opening businesses up again.”

Trax Print CEO Robyn Ablinger said,  “Giving Liquigenic this cutting-edge technology to allow the South African economy to open up is a very exciting prospect. It certainly shows that South Africa is willing to adopt new, out of the box methods to get things kick started again.”
