Having already offered metal cards for personal accounts, UK neobank Revolut has now launched metal cards for business customers.
Business customers can now get metal cards in five different colours: black, gold, rose gold, space grey and silver.
Each card is forged from 18g of stainless steel, metal cards have a striking, professional look and feel. The cards can be used online or in-person like any other Revolut Business contactless card. Revolut company cards offer customers total control over team spending and expenses, plus the freedom to spend abroad.
Metal cards are an exclusive benefit to Revolut Business paid plans. Customers on these plans also can also get £10,000, £50,000 or unlimited foreign exchange rate allowance every month, depending on their chosen plan. They can also get an allowance of free local and international payments each month.
“Metal cards have been among Revolut Business’ most requested features,” said Vaidas Adomauskas, head of Revolut Business. “We’re so excited to have businesses around the world using these stand-out cards. But, more than that, we’re proud that these cards are backed by the very best of Revolut Business – powerful, personalised tools that give businesses ultimate control over their finances.”
The news comes on the back of Revolut passed the milestone of having over 500,000 business customers on its books in early September.
Although, those news in turn came after Revolut lost its head of compliance a few weeks back, continuing the trend of top executives leaving the neobank, and the digital bank’s losses trebled in the last year.
Revolut annual losses jumped from £32.8m in 2018 to £107.4m in 2019, as we reported in August.
