Danish FinTech Mymonii has secured $820,000 in a new investment round.
The Copenhagen-based venture is specialising in building consumer financial mobile apps for families, according to Nordic 9.
A smattering of local angel investors from Denmark, including Jakob Bendsen, Morten Møller Holst, Sune Alstrup, Louise Ertman Baunsgaard and Susanne Brønnum. The rest is a matching loan from Vækstfonden.
Mymonii was launched in 2015.
Several other companies are in innovating in the family-focused FinTech space. Including Beanstalk, StorkCard and PCKT Money.
The entire Nordic region’s FinTech industry has ballooned over the years. In 2016, Nordic FinTech companies attracted $253.2m in funding in total, according to FinTech Global’s research.
By 2020, that figure had skyrocketed to $1.58bn, despite the coronavirus crisis making some investors hesitant to invest.
