Capdesk said to extend its Series A by £5m

Equity management platform Capdesk has reportedly netted £5m in its Series A extension funding.

Fidelity International Strategic Ventures and MiddleGame Ventures led the round, according to a report from UKTN.

The company previously raised £3m in its initial tranche of Series A funding in 2020. Fuel Ventures led the round.

With the burst of funding, the FinTech hopes to cement its position in the market and extending its market offering.

Capdesk offers companies a single platform to manage all their equity, from seed to exit.

The dashboard enables a company to easily view diluted ownership, track transactions, draft complex scenarios, streamline filings, handle options and warrants, onboard clients, manage stakeholders and ensure compliance.

Capdesk CEO and co-founder Christian Gabriel told UKTN, “Today’s announcement makes Capdesk the best-funded equity management solution in Europe. With this investment, we can take a significant leap forward in our journey to create a European-wide digital ecosystem that allows for the safe, secure and fair transaction of equity.”
