Swiss cybersecurity analytics enterprise Threatray has raised €2.3m from a funding round led by Verve Ventures.
The round also saw participation from existing investors such as Hammer Team, SICTIC, SZKB’s Innofund and BackBone Ventures.
Founded in 2018, Threatray is a spin-off of the Bern University of Applied Sciences that produces code-based threat intelligence by forming massive malware repositories and making feeds searchable and easy to correlate.
The company claims its deep, data-driven malware search and analytics technology gives threat intelligence, malware analysts and incident response teams powerful capabilities for quickly identifying, analysing and mitigating sophisticated threats using global and organisation-specific intelligence.
According to Threatray, it intends to use the recently raised capital to expand its team.
