Specialised payments platform Paysafe teamed up with Microsoft to enable consumers to make online cash payments on the Microsoft Store on Xbox.
The deal sees it deploy its paysafecard solution to customers in 22 European countries, including Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain and the UK.
paysafecard enables consumers to use cash to ship for online goods and services. A consumer can purchase the 16-digit code, which can them be redeemed on online stores. Its services are available in 50 countries and has a distribution network of over 650,000 points of sale.
This partnership is an extension of an original deal between the companies back in December 2020, which saw Microsoft implement the eCash payment solution.

The service is available in: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
