Klarna launches Money Talks card game

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) service provider Klarna has launched a Money Talks card game to encourage meaningful conversations around spending, saving, and shopping.

Klarna explained that the Money Talks campaign combines questions around money habits with a “fun twist”. Comprising three levels and a wildcard round, each level touches on a different theme including relationships, personal habits, mindsets and financial basics.

Klarna explained that the premise of the game was inspired by the Social Vulnerability Scale theory, which stipulates that mutual vulnerability fosters closeness.

The limited addition game will also be made available online from 8th November.

Emily Thomas, UK Consumer PR Lead at Klarna said, “Sparking honest conversations about money is the first step in reducing the stigma and anxiety surrounding this taboo topic. At Klarna, we are dedicated to educating our users about responsible spending and encouraging financial wellness.”
