Klarna has joined forces with financial wellbeing specialist Money Wellness to provide its customers with complimentary financial health checks.
At the heart of the tie-up is the ‘Money MOT’, a no-cost service run by Money Wellness and open to every Klarna user. The check gives individuals a tailored snapshot of their financial position alongside straightforward actions to stretch their money further, covering day-to-day budgeting, maximising income, and guidance on handling debts.
Flexibility sits at the centre of the offering. Users can choose how they engage, whether that means talking to a Money Wellness adviser straight away, scheduling a call for a more convenient time, or working through the assessment online through a secure link.
The partnership reflects a preventative approach to money management, with the companies positioning the check-up as something customers should not delay until difficulties emerge.
Klarna operates as a global digital bank and flexible payments provider, while Money Wellness focuses on supporting consumers’ financial wellbeing.
Klarna head of financial services UK Abby Vickers said, “The Money MOT is a quick, free way to see where you stand and pick up practical, personalised tips — whether your finances are in great shape or you’d just like to feel more on top of things. We’re proud to bring the experts at Money Wellness right into the Klarna app, so a bit of help is always just a tap away.”
Money Wellness director of external relations Sebrina McCullough said, “At Money Wellness, we believe that financial wellbeing is about more than dealing with problems when they arise. It’s about helping people feel confident and in control of their money every day. We’re delighted to partner with Klarna to make free, financial support easily accessible to customers and help more people take positive steps towards long term financial wellbeing”
