Cognitive View joins IBM Cloud for Financial Services

Communication monitoring platform Cognitive View has joined the IBM Cloud for Financial Services, which is filled with over 125 global systems integrators, independent software vendors, SaaS providers, and FinTechs.

The framework is designed to address risk in the digital supply chain through a common set of security controls that met by the whole ecosystem. It leverages confidential computing and encryption to help customers retain control of their data and transact with financial institutions securely.

A report from IBM claims a growing portion of the $1trn global hybrid-cloud market is comprised by the financial markets industry. This is expected to increase by nearly 20% by 2024. Furthermore, the cloud is expected to account for 60% of that future market opportunity.

Cognitive View founder and CEO Dilip Mohapatra said, “We welcome the opportunity to offer our RegTech solution hosted on a highly secure cloud supporting the industry-standard controls required by regulators. It will accelerate customers’ adoption of innovative RegTech solutions.”

The Cognitive View platform monitors communication and collaboration channels to automate compliance, quality, customer experience and conduct risk. Its tools can create a customer-centric culture and risk-based supervision to reduce operational risk.

Voice, audio and text data are all supported, and it can integrate with hundreds of third-party systems, including Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx, Zoom and Genesys.

Last year, Cognitive View joined the Genesys Cloud Marketplace. This agreement allows Genesys users to utilise Cognitive View’s voice analytics to improve customer experiences and compliance processes.
