Zeidler names ex-BNY Mellon Legal Counsel as director

Zeidler Group has appointed Serena Goldberg to the position of director to support the expansion of the company’s legal services division.

According to Zeidler, Goldberg will oversee the provision of legal advice and the growth and expansion of Zeidler’s legal services division with a focus on the DACH region. She will report to Valentin Chantereau, the head of the legal services division.

Prior to joining Zeidler, Goldberg spent nine years as a legal counsel for BNY Mellon and also served as a legal counsel for Universal-Investment, a Frankfurt-based fund service platform. Goldberg is also a German-qualified lawyer from the Rechtsanwältin.

Goldberg said, “I am pleased to be joining Zeidler Group as the demand for specialist investment funds legal insight grows. Zeidler Group’s highly innovative digital solutions, research-driven legal advice and commitment to client excellence will further help position Zeidler Group as a one-stop-shop for the asset management industry.”

Arne Zeidler – CEO and founder of Zeidler – added, “Serena is an accomplished and experienced investment funds lawyer, and she brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to Zeidler Group. Serena’s deep understanding of the unique value proposition of Zeidler Group helps us enhance our legal services to our clients. I am delighted to welcome her to our firm”.

Earlier this year, Zeidler appointed Alexandra Milongo to the role of senior business development manager.
