• UK FinTech deal activity projections have dropped from Q1 2022 due to lower volume of transactions in the second quarter. Deal activity in the UK is now expected to reach 578 deals in total, a 19% drop from 2021 levels although the country continues its dominance as the FinTech hub in Europe which can be seen by combining the total deal projections of the next top three countries in Europe (Germany, France, Switzerland) which comes to 484.
