Global wealth management platform FNZ has partnered with full-service digital bank Virgin Money to release a new digital investment solution for UK retail investors.
The digital investment platform and mobile app will provide Virgin Money customers with an enhanced digital experience and a selection of features and capabilities designed to make investing easier, faster and more convenient.
The service was developed by Virgin Money Investments, a joint venture between Virgin Money UK and abrdn.
Virgin Money selected FNZ as its partner due to the latter’s technology, experience offering direct-to-consumer propositions, its track record of complex platform implementations and ability to deliver innovative end-to-end digital experiences across multiple channels.
FNZ provides Virgin Money with a front-end user experience, as well as full investment operations capabilities covering back-end operations, investor administration and contact centre solutions. Further to this, Virgin Money will be able to upgrade and expand its offering, including an upcoming pension product.
Through the investment platform, first time and experienced investors will have access to three investment funds within an ISA or GIA.
FNZ CEO UK and Middle East and Africa Alastair Conway said, “We are delighted to have partnered with Virgin Money to deliver this exciting digital investment platform. We have a vision of opening up wealth by providing wealth management platforms that make investing more transparent, accessible and personalised for everyone.”
“Technology is at the core of this and pairing our capabilities with the team, world-class brand and distribution strength of Virgin Money will allow us to accelerate our mission and scale the delivery of our solutions.”
Earlier in the year, FNZ acquired US-based YieldX. The company offers fixed income portfolio management technology, optimisation services and direct indexing tools.
