Paytronix and Square join forces to refine restaurant engagement

Paytronix, the pioneer in guest engagement for restaurants and convenience stores, has recently disclosed its integration with Square, a company renowned for making commerce and financial services effortlessly accessible.

This partnership enables sellers using any Square point-of-sale (POS) platform, including Square for Restaurants, to utilise Paytronix Online Ordering and Loyalty programs straight from the Square App Marketplace.

This strategic alliance aims to empower restaurants to foster lasting customer relationships and continually attract patrons. The integration of Paytronix and Square offers sellers a way to enhance their online ordering capabilities, leading to improved customer experiences and increased sales.

Paytronix specialises in digital customer engagement for restaurants, convenience stores, and other retailers, striving to build lasting guest relationships. Their technologies provide crucial insights into guest attitudes and behaviours, thereby shaping brand preferences.

On the other hand, Square is a versatile technology company focused on simplifying commerce and financial services. They offer an integrated ecosystem of commerce solutions, software tailored to manage complex operations, versatile e-commerce tools, and embedded financial services.

With the integration of Paytronix, businesses using Square’s POS can customise their first-party ordering experience, reducing errors and ensuring customers receive what they ordered. It also allows for aggregation and control of the third-party ordering channel, syncing menus across all platforms and injecting orders directly into the Square POS and Kitchen Display System (KDS).

The integration is also expected to incorporate Paytronix Loyalty, a feature that allows users of Square POS and Paytronix to gain insightful purchase data and create personalised offers that keep guests returning.

This new offering is available to US-based Paytronix and Square sellers.

“Online ordering is now a key part of the restaurant guest engagement ecosystem, and it needs to work perfectly throughout the tech stack,” Paytronix VP Strategic Partnerships Dan Murphy said. He added that, “Brands must align all components of their digital guest engagement platform, and this integration of Paytronix with Square makes life easier for restaurants standardising on the Square for Restaurants ecosystem.”

Jane Hong, Head of Restaurant Partnerships at Square, echoed these sentiments. “Square’s integration with Paytronix is about keeping guests coming back, with loyalty-driven engagement right at the point of sale combined with purchase insights and tailored offers designed to increase visits and revenue.”
