Certa collaborates with Resistant AI to revolutionise document verification

Certa

Certa and Resistant AI, a specialist in AI and machine learning for financial crime prevention, have formally announced their collaborative partnership.

The main objective of this partnership is to integrate Resistant AI’s Document Forensics, a tool for detecting document fraud, into Certa’s workflow automation platform. This would allow a more efficient automation of customer and vendor approvals and rejections during the onboarding process.

Certa is renowned for its platform which efficiently manages third-party risk. The platform is designed to streamline the onboarding process of customers, suppliers, sellers, and partners, ensuring safer and more efficient operations. Resistant AI, on the other hand, utilises artificial intelligence and machine learning to prevent financial crimes. Their Document Forensics service is recognised for its ability to detect document fraud that is often missed by human inspection.

With the collaboration, Certa users can now access Resistant AI’s Document Forensics directly within Certa’s platform. The AI-powered document fraud detection system aims to minimise the time spent on manual document review, avert serial fraud attempts, and expedite the approval of customers and suppliers.

This partnership is a testament to both companies’ commitment to providing innovative solutions for document fraud detection. By integrating AI into the document verification process, it allows for more secure and efficient customer and vendor onboarding.

Certa CEO Jag Lamba said, “We are always looking for partnership opportunities that help speed the onboarding of customers, suppliers, sellers, and partners, while making it safer and more efficient for all parties involved. Our partnership with Resistant AI is just another way to demonstrate that commitment to our customers, so they are confident that their onboarding process is both as simple as possible and protected from fraud.”

Resistant AI CEO Martin Rehak stated, “Onboarding processes are a crucial component of any business’s overall success, but it remains a time-consuming and costly aspect of doing business. With Resistant AI’s Document Forensics available directly in Certa’s leading third-party risk management platform, organisations will be able to identify modified documents almost instantly as a first step in the document automation workflow, enabling faster, more accurate business decisions, increasing organisational efficiencies, and helping prevent losses.”

Earlier this year, Resistant AI revealed Malta-based Bank of Valetta has adopted its Transaction Forensics product for AML.
