Industrial Alliance Auto and Home Insurance (iAAH), a premier provider of multiple insurance lines including auto, property, casualty, and liability insurance, has announced its collaboration with Mitchell, an Enlyte company.
Mitchell is renowned for its progressive technology and information solutions targeting the Property & Casualty (P&C) claims and Collision Repair industries.
The new collaboration aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of claims handling through the integration of Mitchell’s workflow management and collision damage appraisal solutions. iAAH, a Quebec-based insurer established in 1973, opted for Mitchell’s advanced technology as the bedrock for its future claim ecosystem development.
Mitchell, with headquarters in San Diego, California, offers innovative technology solutions and services to multiple markets including auto insurance, collision repair, disability, and workers’ compensation. Mitchell’s expertise is underpinned by an extensive network within the insurance ecosystem and advanced technology deployment such as AI and cloud-based solutions.
The newly implemented product, Mitchell WorkCenter, has turbocharged iAAH’s claims handling operations. From loss profiling with integration to estimating, reviewing, and repair management, all claims handling activities have been streamlined. The solution enables electronic assignment of work to the network repair facilities, thereby mitigating data inaccuracies and reducing cycle times. Mitchell’s appraisal solution, Mitchell Cloud Estimating, was swiftly deployed by iAAH’s staff appraisers and partners. This enables them to create estimates from any internet-enabled device, quickly onboard new network repair facilities, and have instant access to integrated OEM procedures.
Further enhancements facilitated by Mitchell’s technology include a more efficient onboarding process for new network repair facilities and immediate access to the latest product features due to its scalable, cloud-based architecture. These features ensure reduced software development and maintenance costs.
Industrial Alliance Auto and Home Insurance vice president of claims, Hugo Fortin said, “Mitchell’s technology enables us to optimise the process, deliver a digital experience and provide our customers and partners with tools designed to streamline auto insurance claims.” Debbie Day, executive vice president and general manager of Mitchell’s Auto Physical Damage division added, “Mitchell will be there to support iAAH with innovative solutions designed to enhance workflows, automate manual tasks and enable proper, safe vehicle repairs.”
