Simply Business teams up with Cerity to boost digital-first workers’ compensation insurance

Simply Business, a Boston-based digital insurance firm catering to small businesses, has declared a new collaboration with Cerity, a leading provider of digital-first, direct-to-consumer workers’ compensation insurance policies.

This association aims to provide small businesses with seamless access to worker’s compensation insurance. By offering quotes for Cerity’s policies on the Simply Business platform, customers can efficiently bind their policies online or seek assistance from a licensed insurance agent to tailor their coverage according to their business requirements.

With a focus on small business insurance, Simply Business is revolutionising how business owners secure insurance by offering tailored online coverage. Having started in the United Kingdom, the company made its mark in the United States in 2017. With its customer-first approach emphasising simplicity, choice, and value, Simply Business has become a leader in the insurance domain.

Cerity, on the other hand, is a subsidiary of Employers Holdings, a workers’ compensation specialist with over a century-long legacy. Cerity aims to redefine small business insurance by empowering business owners with an easy, online workers’ compensation solution. The company’s proprietary pricing model generates tailored quotes within seconds and can issue a new policy in five minutes or less, allowing business leaders to concentrate on their growth and operations.

The collaboration between Simply Business and Cerity is set to provide small business owners in Washington D.C. and 46 states with a robust, digital-first experience for their workers’ compensation needs. “We are committed to providing small business owners with a wide range of insurance options that cater to their specific needs and preferences,” David Summers, Group CEO of Simply Business, stated.

Echoing a similar sentiment, Chris Champlin, Vice President of Digital Sales at Cerity, shared, “We are thrilled to team up with Simply Business to meet customers where they want to be: online. By leveraging technology, we have created a digital-first experience that makes it easy for small business owners to get the coverage and peace of mind they need so they can focus on running their business.”
