ASA, an embedded FinTech platform that facilitates a secure and compliant connection between financial institutions and customer-facing FinTechs, has announced a new strategic partnership and investment.
The Provo, Utah-based firm operates an innovative marketplace that’s easy to implement, offering a significant boost to the burgeoning FinTech industry.
The company declared that industry pioneer, Travis Oliphant, CEO of OpenTeams and Venture Partner with Quansight Initiate, has invested in ASA and partnered with them. The collaboration is set to advance open innovation within the banking sector, providing further opportunities for development and growth.
ASA’s platform creates a space for collaboration between financial institutions and FinTechs. This embedded FinTech model allows banks and credit unions to become secure gateways to desirable technologies without sharing any regulated data. Their platform offers quick innovation for financial institutions, scalability for FinTechs, and empowers end users with control over their data and finances.
This strategic investment and partnership with Oliphant and Quansight Initiate will enable ASA to connect with a broader open-source community. The company intends to utilise this network to further develop FinTech solutions and provide expertise in machine learning and AI strategy and architecture.
In addition to his role at Quansight Initiate, Oliphant is also the creator of NumPy, Scipy and Numba, and the founder of Anaconda, NumFOCUS, OpenTeams and OpenTeams Incubator. His extensive background in transformative technology brings immense value to the partnership with ASA.
Travis Oliphant, the CEO of OpenTeams and Venture Partner with Quansight Initiate, expressed his admiration for ASA’s dedication to facilitate easier interaction between FinTech entrepreneurs and existing banking technology.
He said, “We are impressed with ASA’s commitment to helping fintech entrepreneurs engage more easily with existing banking technology, all while empowering account holders with greater control of their data.” Landon Glenn, CEO and co-founder of ASA, echoed Oliphant’s enthusiasm about the partnership, “Our team is already benefiting from Quansight Initiate’s deep expertise and insights, and we are confident that we can accelerate the collaborative banking movement together.”
ASA already counts notable industry figures such as former CIO of JP Morgan Chase Austin Adams and former CEO of BECU Benson Porter among its investors. The addition of Travis Oliphant and Quansight Initiate only reinforces the platform’s impressive roster of backers.
