Ardonagh UK has named former director of regional brokers, strategy and propositions at Aviva, Karen Jackman as commercial MGA sales director.
The move will see Jackman take the reins of a new strategic role for the business, according to Insurance Age.
She previously left her role at the London-based multinational insurer in May last year.
Throughout her Aviva tenure, Jackman’s roles included head of broker distribution, strategy, marketing, proposition and deals.
Meanwhile, there were other top appointments across the InsurTech space, as Aon appointed seasoned industry veteran Anneliesse Oliveros as the Head of EMEA for their Global Broking Centre.
Jackman’s appointment is the second example this week of an ex-Aviva employee landing at an InsurTech rival, following on from Aon’s appointment of Graeme MacMillan as its Chief Broking Officer (CBO) for Commercial Risk Solutions in the UK.
