Capco has announced the appointment of Karl Canty as a new Partner within its US Insurance practice, based in Hartford, Conn.
According to Insurance Innovation Reporter, in his new role, Canty will focus on building client relationships, driving sales, and delivering value for insurers, including a number of Capco’s key Life & Annuities clients.
Capco operates as a prominent global consultancy firm specialising in technology and management solutions for the financial services sector. Their expertise spans across major financial markets, delivering cutting-edge solutions tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities of the industry.
Karl Canty brings a wealth of experience with over 20 years in the insurance product, technology, and transformation sectors. His new role at Capco will involve spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and strategic change within the US insurance market. His focus will primarily be on leveraging his deep knowledge of the sector to benefit Capco’s Life & Annuities clients.
Before joining Capco, Canty held the position of Vice-President for Insurance Data & AI at EXL, where he was instrumental in scaling data analytics and digital operations. His career also includes significant tenures at EY and PwC, where he led teams in operational transformation and strategy, focusing on process and organizational design.
Karl’s extensive background also includes roles that focused on transforming business processes and implementing strategic initiatives across some of the largest financial services organizations globally. This experience positions him uniquely to drive innovation and strategic changes at Capco.
