A new YouGov survey has revealed challenger bank Monzo has beaten audio company Bose and money transfer unicorn TransferWise to be the most recommended brand in the UK.
Based on a survey of 1,500 customers different organisations, Monzo received a score of 84.8. TransferWise came second with a score of 76.8.
FinTech ran through the top of the list with the MoneySavingExpert.com claiming the third place with 74.6 points, just below the 74.8 scored by smartphone brand OnePlus.
Other brands on the list included holiday companies Celebrity Cruises, Secret Escapes and Universal Studios Orlando.
The news comes after Tom Foster-Carter quit as Monzo’s chief operating officer to launch a grocery startup.
It also comes after a series of setbacks for the challenger bank, which includes having to scrap its premium memberships and dealing with investors who are keen to see the company make a profit.
While TransferWise did not beat Monzo on this list, FinTech Global recently revealed it toppled the challenger bank in another list: the top ten most valuable UK FinTech unicorns with its £2.8bn valuation. Monzo only came fifth with its £2bn valuation.
