Amwins International Underwriting, the London-based underwriting arm of global speciality distributor Amwins, has announced the appointment of Keith Trivitt as underwriting director for its cross-class portfolio solution.
The offering, known as Amwins Amplify, offers a suite of products available exclusively through Amwins Global Risks brokers.
Trivitt will officially join Amwins in September. He previously worked at Axis Capital, where he was responsible for portfolio solutions. He brings significant experience, having worked across both carrier and distributor roles, which is expected to be invaluable in further developing Amwins’ managing general agent (MGA) operations.
In his new role, Trivitt will work to expand Amplify’s underwriting capabilities and contribute to the growth of its best-in-class tracker facility.
His appointment follows other strategic hires in the London team, including Simon Jackson as managing director in November 2023, and the company’s recent acquisition of a box at Lloyd’s earlier this year.
