Yuno, a payment orchestration platform, has launched Smart Routing—a solution designed to streamline payments, reduce costs, and enhance transaction approval rates for merchants.
With Smart Routing, Yuno advances the field of automated payment solutions, showcasing its commitment to merchant empowerment through seamless, intelligent technology. This feature simplifies the complex task of managing payment flows across various providers, allowing merchants to optimise costs, improve response times, and increase transaction approval rates.
The new technology enables merchants to test and adjust routing strategies in real-time without any disruption to active transactions. Merchants can tailor Smart Routing to fit their specific needs, applying it automatically across all transactions or selectively to a portion of traffic. This approach allows safe A/B testing of routing pathways and provider options, ensuring that merchants can refine their payment processes while protecting revenue and providing a high-quality experience for customers.
Juan Pablo Ortega, co-founder and CEO at Yuno, said, “Smart Routing represents a major breakthrough in payment optimization. Merchants are exhausting significant time and resources on the never-ending analysis and configuration that goes into optimizing payment processing.
“By leveraging Yuno’s robust data and advanced intelligence, we’ve developed a solution that automates and simplifies complex payment routing decisions. This innovation enables merchants to increase approval rates, lower transaction costs, and enhance response times without constant manual intervention. Smart Routing reflects our commitment to simplifying payments and maximizing efficiency for businesses of all sizes.”
James Stack, head of product at Yuno, highlighted the benefits of Smart Routing for merchant experimentation, noting, “Merchants no longer need to risk customer satisfaction or revenue while testing new routing strategies. Smart Routing is designed to ensure low latency and optimal revenue performance, all while allowing merchants to experiment safely with new routes in a live environment. It’s a breakthrough for merchants using multiple providers who want to eliminate complexity and focus on scaling their businesses.”
The release of Smart Routing builds on Yuno’s recent launch of Monitors, a feature that allows merchants to detect and address payment anomalies in real-time through custom alerts based on transaction acceptance rates.
Together, Smart Routing and Monitors demonstrate Yuno’s ambition to establish itself as the leading global payment orchestration platform, furthering its reach across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Yuno’s ongoing expansion has been bolstered by a recent $25m Series A investment from Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, and DST Global Partners.
